Dinesh Chandra Banik (Kamalpur Action )

Born in 1907 in Mymensingh, Bangladesh,s/o Late Mohim Chandra Banik. Arerested and convicted for 7 years by a special tribunal in connection with Kamalpur action. In Cellular Jail for about 4 years and more than three and a half years in mainland jails.

Jagat Bandhu Bose ( )

Born 20th July , Jessore, Bangladesh, s/o Late Lal Behari Bose. Belonged to Yugantar party. First arrested in connection with Aranyapasha Arms Explosive Seizure Incident and sentenced to 6 years prison term. Deported to Andamans. Took part in the hunger strike(1937) in Cellular Jail. After release again suffered detention in prison during the second world war for two years(1940-42). Total jail period more than ten years.

Saroj Kumar Bose (Hilli Action )

Born at Dinajpur, Bangladesh on 01.03.1915. s/o Ananda Mohan Basu. Joined the Anusheelan Party at an early age. Was an I.S.C. student. Arrested on 29.10.1933. in connection with the Hilli Action . He was given the death sentence. This was commuted to 10 years prison on appeal. Participated in the second hunger strike. Repatriated in January 1938. Took part in another hunger strike in July 1939. released in May, 1942 but rearrested at the jail gate as a security prisoner. Released in September 1945. Total jail period about 12 years.

Sudhindra Nath Bhattacharjee (Bogura Postal Action and North Bengal Conspiracy Case )

Born 25.08.1910, Sagarpara, rajshahi town, Bangladesh, s/o Late Chandra Nath Bhattacharya. Joined Jugantar Party at the age of 17. Civil disobedience in 1930 for 3 months. Arrested in connection with Bogura Postal Action in North Bengal Conspiracy in Calcutta on 14.01.1934 and sentenced to 5 years R.I. awarded. Another 9 months in Alipore jail for hunger strike. Deported to Cellular Jail. Released in 1938 from Alipore Central Jail on medical grounds. Total jail period 6 years.
